Boulder Consultants were appointed to undertake an appraisal of options for the extension and refurbishment of an existing Hacienda-style residence in Denham, with the aim of creating improved entertainment and leisure facilities while enhancing the way the home functions.

 

Working closely with the client and design team, Boulder provided structural engineering input to explore the feasibility of the proposed alterations, including the creation of a new central entertainment space, improved connections through the property and the introduction of a contemporary garden pavilion incorporating swimming pool and associated facilities.The project required careful consideration of the existing building, ensuring that the proposed changes could be integrated effectively while maintaining the character of the original property.

 

Structural solutions were developed to support the new architectural elements, including larger openings, increased levels of natural light and the reconfiguration of internal spaces.Following the successful planning approval, Boulder looks forward to seeing the proposals progress from design into construction.
